Art’s 1.000.046 th birthday

In this performance I remixed a biblical story in which Jesus made a miracle duplicating bread and fish to a plenty of starving  people.

In SecondLife -virtual world- duplicating is not a miracle, just Copy and Paste Paste Paste. There is no production costs and it is not eatable. As food  has no value, only as decorative object or the subject of a performance for example. Instead of having a big “public” I had just one person Mihaiela Millet.

At the end of the duplicating fish and bread action I take out from my pocket  a bunch of 10.000 USD and I go out from the scene with it, without duplicating it. In the biblical story peoples wanted to make Jesus as their king because he could make them rich.

The action was made in 17 Jan. 2009  for art’s 1.000.046 th birthday (read more about art’s birthday here) . The video documentation was exhibited next day in Mives Haz gallery, Saint George/ Transylvania/ Romania with the same reason, celebration of the art.

One Million Dollar Expo ~ expo Nr. 003

The one million dollar exhibition is a “work in regress” installation.
The compact form is made from 100 piles of 10.000 USD. We all saw this cliché several times, but most of us don’t get in connection with a big sum like this. Visitors can come and see this always modifying installation, or buy a part of it with the symbolic sum of approximately 0.1 USD. It would be nice if one or more persons would start to exhibit the part of the installation as “work in progress”. Once the piles are sold, financially they are not anymore my property, remaining just as intellectual property.

You can visit the expo in Second Life here.

Kiss ~ expo Nr. 002

I selected a few images related to kiss or let’s say oral explorations, from romance to sickness.

SL tomography ~ expo Nr. 001

Playing with the strenght and the weakness of the non physically body which is just a skin. Theimperfectness of the game actually gave me the possibility to admire the beauty of the SL body/ skin. Deconstructing the body we find the basic module, the triangle. Three points creates a plane, and the whole visible structure is based on this system of multiplied triangle aggregation. These are covered with “fake” textures to make mathematics looks better :-{

In used this technical problem (rendering) to connect the body’s inner space with the outer space, maybe because I just felt the invulnerability of those spaces. The border-skin’s function is more for visual pleasure, rather than vital.
